We recommend you worm your pet as follows:

Puppies less than 6 months:

  • Worm every month up to 6 months i.e. worm at 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 months of age.

Puppies over 6 months and Adult dogs:

  • Worm every 3 months i.e. worm at 6, 9, 12 and 15 months etc.

We can also set up a reminder by text message or e-mail to ensure your pet receives its regular worm doses.

How do pets get worms?

Your pet can pick up roundworms from soil contaminated with worm eggs from other dogs.

Tapeworms are acquired when your pet eats mice or birds.

Fleas also play a role in transferring tapeworms. By ingesting a flea when grooming your pet may be taking in a tapeworm as well.
